As an experienced Hepatobiliary & Pancreas Surgical Oncologist based at The Royal Columbian Hospital, my patients appreciate the professional integrity, and surgical excellence that define my surgical practice. My goal is help my patients understand their own health so they can be well informed when making important health and surgery decisions.
Initial Surgical Consultation

At your initial consultation a discussion regarding your specific medical condition will allow development of collaborative treatment planning. All consultations are done through telehealth. New referrals requests must be made through your GP's office or directly from the Hospital Emergency department.

Post-Op Care
Taking Care of You
After surgery, I will take care of you in the hospital and help you recover. The surgical team will encourage you to participate in your recovery and meet targets in preparation of your release from hospital.

Hospital release will occur when your postoperative pain is controlled, you are eating, and are passing gas.

Surgical Follow up Care

Through a holistic approach to medicine, I try viewing each patient as a whole rather than a single illness to be treated.
At the time of discharge from the surgical ward, you will be instructed to follow up with your GP in 1 to 2 weeks and with me via telehealth in 2 to 6 weeks.
